Antiques Show Announces 2019 Beneficiary

2019 Cathedral Antiques Show Chair Elspeth Willcoxon and Chair Elect Jenny McClure are pleased to announce the show’s beneficiary will be Wilderness Works.

Wilderness Works has served Atlanta’s chronically homeless, impoverished, and extremely vulnerable children for over 20 years. They provide year-round enrichment, experiential education, and character development through city camps, summer nature camps, and outdoor living field camps in our National Parks. Wilderness Works teaches self-worth through self-sufficiency gained during discovery experiences at these camps. The funding we raise for them will go toward refurbishing the dormitories at the Memorial Drive city camp and providing a recreational assistance vehicle for off-site camping. Learn more about their work at wildernessworks.org.

The Cathedral Antiques Show has been a major outreach project of the Episcopal Church Women of the Cathedral of St. Philip for 48 years. We will again host antiques dealers, art dealers, floral designers, and interiors designers, as well as two tours of Buckhead homes. Each year, all net proceeds benefit at designated charity and over the years, the show has contributed over $5 million to Atlanta area non-profit organizations. The show will be held January 23-27, 2019. For more information, visit cathedralantiques.org.
