The Cathedral’s Habitat for Humanity team dedicated its thirtieth house on a sunny Saturday, April 28. Working with homeowner Lisa Reyes, her daughter Alexandria, and teams from several other churches, the builders spent Saturdays throughout March and April working on the home. The event was capped off by our traditional feast of grilled ribs, chicken, and sausages and numerous side dishes and desserts, all prepared by our fabulous food team. And, team leader John Champion was recently named one of Atlanta Habitat for Humanity’s volunteers of the year. Thank you for all your hard work, John and the rest of the Habitat team!
